Postmortem

We looked into more detail at this release and determined that the cause of the problems was related to the caching solution overloading the server in the first few minutes where the cached items were first being populated.

After some time, the cached values were present and so the load on the server was reduced significantly enough for us to be certain of the stability of the server.

We reinstated the 2.3.2 Rambutan release on 11th December 2013, and have been closely monitoring all services since then and have noticed no further degradation of performance.

The 2.3.2 Release is now officially online, stable and availble for public consumption.

Completed

We have rolled back the 2.3.2 due to persisting problems with the system. We will proceed to debug and will launch a stable version as soon as possible.
